The Manhattan District Attorney’s office is excited to announce that applications for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office 2024 High School Summer Internship Program will open on January 5th, 2024!

Applications will be accepted from current sophomores, juniors, and seniors who live or go to school in Manhattan. The deadline for applying to this internship is March 8th, 2024, at 5 pm. They are hosting a virtual information session on Thursday, November 30th, from 6 pm to 6:45 pm. Please encourage youth to register at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfyLxGgEhq0tOZPkFWU6WResIlsBpuGVheRqBxYo9DkfhWNBQ/viewform . A Zoom link will be provided after registration.

On this day in 1964, the Montreal Canadiens acquired the rights to 16-year-old goaltender Ken Dryden, along with Alex Campbell, from the Bruins in exchange for Guy Allen and Paul Reid.

Six years later, after he graduated from Cornell, Dryden signed with the Habs
