π¨ Help Us Reach Our Yom Mosh Goal! π¨
As part of our Yom Mosh campaign, we're working to raise the final $30,000 needed to reach our $45,500 goal before Mosh begins.
As we prepare to open our brand-new pool, we were reminded of one of the most legendary stories in Camp Shomria history.
Back in the 1970s, a group of madrichim had a bold idea: build a giant structure next to the pool and attach a zipline so campers could soar from multiple stories above directly into the water. They called it the Omega.
As boger Jeff Markowitz recalls: "Back then I thought, 'Oh my god, this is amazing!' and today I think, 'Oh my god, this is crazy.'"
The Omega was a product of its time, but it represents something timeless about Camp Shomria: creativity, adventure, and the unforgettable memories made around our pool.
Today, we're building the next chapter of that story. Our new pool will provide a safe, modern space where future generations of chanichim can create memories of their own.
If Camp Shomria has been part of your story, we hope you'll help us make this project a reality.

P.S. While the spirit of adventure is still alive and well, we can promise that there won't be an Omega at the new pool. π
