There are times when we feel challenged to remain trusting the Lord when we are under attack. Sometimes we don’t see a way through and we wonder if God has abandoned us. But nothing is further from the truth. We must remain steadfast and trust that the Lord is working in the midst, in the background and that we are not alone.

Pray for courage and strength; ask your circle to pray with you and remain steadfast.

But I will bless those who trust me, the LORD.

What's Happening at the OHCC in October and November?

10/11 TOMORROW Jaime's Pumpkin Patch - all proceeds go to make up care packages for cancer patients. Games, goodies, fun and all to support a good cause!

10/18 - Pet Blessing & Memorial Service - 10am

10/31 - Trick or Treat Trunk Fest 12:00-2:00pm - Bring your kids, wear costumes, visit our parking lot Trick or Treat center for some giggles and treats.

11/9 - Book Club "The Calamity Club" by Kathryn Stockett and "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck. We read, we explore, we chat. To find out more call the church office (718) 351-3667 or visit our website www.myohcc.org

11/15 - Pot Luck and shuffleboard - Good food and Good fun

11/22 - Church Decorating - The Holy-Days will be here before we know it. Church members stay a little while and help us make Oakwood festive!
