GallopNYC Therapeutic equine-assisted programming for all New Yorkers. An oasis in the heart of Queens. Join Us! We also offer hippotherapy services.

GallopNYC brings the proven benefits of therapeutic horsemanship to children and adults with disabilities in NYC. Therapeutic horseback riding provides measurable benefits for people with developmental, emotional, social, and physical challenges. Through weekly riding sessions with PATH-certified instructors, we help riders walk, talk and learn, inspiring each one to live life as fully, productively and independently as possible. GallopNYC serves 500 riders every week at six NYC locations, of which two are our own locations.

We’re still smiling from this past Saturday! 🥰 GallopNYC’s Family Fun Day was an absolute blast celebrating our incredible riders, volunteers, staff, and horses.

Our riders showed off their skills in the horse show, everyone lined up for photos with Dusty 🐴, faces were painted, and we shared more about all of our different programs. A massive thank you to everyone who came out and made the day such a huge success!

Need weekend plans? COME VOLUNTEER!
You may or may not get Charlie’s stamp of approval 👅

This is Olivia, one of our wonderful volunteers, originally hailing from Westchester County. She keeps busy outside the ring, too, either scuba diving or communicating in ASL! 🤟🤿
Thank you for everything you do for our riders and horses.

We look for the support of people like you 🫵🏻 yes, you!

We rely on hundreds of volunteers each season to support lessons and care for our herd. This fall we still have open shifts available. In this role you will get to not only spend time outdoors alongside our horses, but assist veterans, seniors and folks with disabilities. 🍂🐴🤝

Don’t worry, horse experience is not required as we provide on-site training. Learn more and sign up at gallopnyc.org/volunteer or use the link in our bio.

Hope to see you soon at Sunrise Stables 🌅

We are proud to partner with Win this summer to provide a transformative camp experience for children living in temporary or supportive housing in NYC. Win does incredible work providing safe housing and critical services to help families break the cycle of homelessness.

Last week was packed with horseback riding, horse education, mindfulness exercises, arts & crafts, nature walks, and plenty of sprinkler fun! These amazing campers formed deep bonds with their horses and after an impactful week they didn’t want to leave! We were lucky to create lasting memories for our campers, counselors, horses, and volunteers. ✨🐴

A massive thank you to the Amazin' Mets Fdn for providing the scholarships that made this all possible! 🧡💙
