| Activity 2 | Adanze Nzeako

Under the POP Nigeria Initiative and Verde Voices Initiative, Adanze Christian Nzeako led a Waste Collection Exercise at Mastermind Learning Zone, encouraging students to take action on environmental sustainability and responsible waste management.

The activity combined hands-on clean-up efforts with environmental education, helping students understand the impacts of plastic pollution, the importance of recycling, and the role individuals can play in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

Together, participants collected 10 kg of carton waste and 120 PET bottles, while two large waste baskets were donated to support ongoing waste management efforts within the school community.

This initiative demonstrates how awareness, action, and community engagement can create meaningful environmental impact and inspire the next generation of climate leaders. 🌱

Financial Literacy & Building a Sustainable Future

💡 What if every young person had the knowledge and confidence to make smart financial decisions?

Financial literacy is not just about money—it is about empowerment, independence, and creating opportunities for a better future.

In this video, Dr. Ash Pachauri, Co-Founder of POP Movement, introduces the importance of financial literacy as a life skill that can help young people navigate an increasingly complex world.

From budgeting and saving to managing debt and planning for long-term goals, financial knowledge equips youth to make informed decisions and build a more secure future for themselves and their communities.

As we work towards a more sustainable and equitable world, empowering young people with financial skills is essential to fostering resilience, responsible leadership, and lasting positive impact.
