Sharing a highlight from our recent annual high school girls’ conference on education and safety, held last Friday, May 29, at the United Nations Church Center in New York. A student from our partner school, Claremont International High School in the Bronx, spoke about how education serves as a universal language and remains the most powerful tool for empowering girls.
Educating girls, regardless of their language, supports not only individuals but also families, communities, and future generations. This student’s message highlights the importance of our commitment to accessible education for young women as a driver of global progress.

Yesterday, May 29th, we enjoyed another great moment at our annual high school girls conference. Our keynote speaker, Bronx President Vanessa L. Gibson, spoke directly to the girls, and also to the boys who showed up to support the girls, encouraging them to act with purpose and always stay ready for new opportunities. She also shared advice and encouragement with the high school boys who came, acknowledging their support for the girls at the event.

Thank you for being part of our annual conference on girls’ education and safety. We truly appreciate the inspiring contributions of the Bronx Borough President, Vanessa L. Gibson, Raven Robinson , and our panelists, and others. We are so grateful to everyone who attended and supported us especially, and aokconceptsunlimited.
