The International Youth Council (IYC) was honored to contribute to the UNIDO Global Industry Summit 2025, convened during the 21st Session of the Conference in Riyadh.

Our participation was particularly significant on Women and Youth Day, where we underscored the vital role of young people and women in advancing inclusive and sustainable industrial development. By bringing forward youth perspectives, we sought to enrich dialogue on innovation, climate action, and equitable growth, ensuring that the voices of future generations are represented in shaping global industry.

Throughout the summit, the IYC team engaged constructively with policymakers, industry leaders, innovators, and partners on themes including AI-driven transformation, climate resilience, industrial innovation, and global partnerships. These exchanges reaffirmed the importance of multistakeholder collaboration in building a more sustainable and inclusive future.

In parallel, the International Youth Council has initiated promising partnerships across the MENA and EU regions, strengthening bridges of cooperation and fostering opportunities for youth engagement and empowerment at the regional and international levels.

The International Youth Council (IYC) proudly participated in the official launch of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025 at Temple Trees, Colombo, with H. E. Sadham Dhikran Zarjahan (CEO – IYC HQ) and Ms. Onaya Kulatunga (Project Associate – IYC Sri Lanka).

The event, hosted by Hon. Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, celebrated innovation, leadership, and youth-driven entrepreneurship across the country.
