Les Dames d’Escoffier New York (LDNY) is the founding and largest chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International, which began in 1976 as the first organization devoted to professional women in food, fine beverage, and hospitality at a time when women were not recognized as leaders in those industries. Our friends at Les Dames d'Escoffier Philadelphia warmly invite the LDNY community to join them for their annual Heritage Dinner on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Glen Foerd Mansion.⁠

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Heritage Dinner honors recipients of the Outstanding in Her Field Award. This year's distinguished honorees are Rose Levy Beranbaum, Melissa Hamilton, Christopher Hirsheimer, and Michele Leff, whose contributions have shaped the culinary world through their talent, leadership, and lasting impact.⁠

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception followed by a family-style dinner featuring dishes inspired by each honoree and prepared by an exceptional lineup of area chefs. The full chef roster will be announced closer to the event.⁠
