Eleven orphans at home! – The heart-wrenching tragedy in Ofakim: The passing of HGR' Chanan Bonfeld zt"l‏🕯️

HGR' Chanan Bonfeld was a kollel avreich for 25 years, making do with whatever he had and living a life of utmost simplicity.
Mrs. Bonfeld, the devastated widow, is a schoolteacher who worked her entire married life to support her family so she could enable her husband to grow in Torah.
There are 11 orphans at home with her now!
The oldest daughter got married about a year ago, and now there are another 9 unmarried daughters and 2 sons.
The youngest child is a 5-year-old daughter who is now left without a father.

A frightening tragedy in the Elkayas home in Ramot Polin, Yerushalayim- the mother traveled to be with her mother, a patient in Laniado Hospital in Netanya, for Shabbos.
Left at home in Yerushalayim were Rabbi Elkayas and their children-
Shabbos morning they discovered him lying in bed, lifeless.
One daughter – only 12 years old! - used resuscitation techniques on her father with her little hands until the first responders arrived.
The mother was brought home in the middle of Shabbos to be with her hysterical children, whose cries shook the neighborhood.

Tragedy in Neve Ya'akov: Nine orphans of HaRav Aryeh Levy zt"l, who was niftar at age forty-four!

HaRav Aryeh Mordechai Levy zt"l was niftar late last week, leaving behind nine unmarried orphans, the oldest age eighteen and a half and the youngest only four years old.
A few years ago he was diagnosed with a rare blood disease, and he and his wife- a true tzaddekes- decided to use the nisayon they were given as a springboard to spiritual elevation.
Last Shabbos he collapsed in his home, and shortly afterward he returned his neshama to his Creator, leaving behind shock and pain in its wake.
His wife, who herself had been orphaned in childhood, did not move from his sickbed for months! Now she is left alone with nine fresh orphans…!

The fire in Ramot: They left for a few minutes and when they returned, they discovered their house had burned down! 🔥 🔥 🔥

Nothing could have prepared the family of six for what happened-
a completely demolished arena waiting for them where their home used to be when they returned from a short shopping trip to the neighborhood grocery store.
A special-needs child had wandered into their apartment by mistake, locked himself inside and started a fire which destroyed their home.

The entire home was burnt.
A father, a mother, and four children
Are left with only the clothes on their backs.
Without beds
Without changes of clothing
Without book bags for school tomorrow
Without a roof over their heads.

Heartbreaking The orphaned baby who was born at the very moment his mother passed away - was brought into the covenant today.
Not a single eye remained dry in the room when the words were said:
“May the father rejoice in the child of his loins, and may the mother rejoice in Gan Eden over the fruit of her womb…”

when we read the pessukim in the brocha for parnassah 'Vayiten lecha'- "And HaElokim will give you from the dew of the heavens and from the fat of the earth and very much grain and wine…[you will be] a lord to your brother"…
reading this activates the potential embedded in the time, which is influential for parnassah.
