The NCNW, Inc. - Queens County Section is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization based in Southeast Queens. It is part of a nationally recognized organization committed to the legacy of the founder, Mary McLeod Bethune. The NCNW, Inc. - Queens County Section was founded by Reva Anthony on May 13, 1987 to address a growing need for community-based programs and services in Southeast Queens, New York. The
Section was chartered in August of 1987 and implements service projects and events focused on community service, cultural arts, economic development, education, health, international issues, and voter education. NCNW's mission is to lead, develop and advocate for women of African descent as they support their families and communities.
