Gobble Gobble Give NYC is a community-driven event at the Apollo Theater, where volunteers come together on Thanksgiving Day to prepare meals, donate toys, & support families in need across NYC. ing on a toy and donation drive in recent years due to the pandemic, we’re excited to bring back our full event in 2024. From preparing meals to sorting donations and toys, there are many ways for volunteers to make an impact, and the event is designed to be family-friendly—children are not just welcome but can really help. Here are the key elements of the event:

- Meal Assembly Station: Volunteers will prepare individual meals to be delivered to local shelters, families, and individuals in need.
- Meal and Donation Deployment Area: This is where volunteers will organize meals, donations, and supplies for pickup and delivery by the different organizations we’re helping.
- Kids Holiday Workshop: A creative space where children can make holiday crafts, such as cards, ornaments, and friendship bracelets for children in need.
- Toy, Food, Clothing, and Toiletry Sorting: Volunteers will help organize the donations of toys, non-perishable food, clothing, and toiletries we receive, ensuring that every item gets to the right place.
- Family Portrait Corner: As a thank-you for their participation, volunteers will receive a professional portrait to commemorate the meaningful day. We will deliver the meals and donations to shelters, group homes, orgs and churches that have homeless outreach programs, individual families in need, and homeless individuals on the street. All donations will deliver to the orgs we help or individuals in need on Thanksgiving Day. Here are a few of the amazing orgs we are partnering with this year:

MADE FOR ME BOOKS is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion through personalized children's books that celebrate individuality and inspire a love of reading. We’re thrilled to partner with them this year to bring their empowering stories to our community. LA JORNADA is a vital food pantry serving communities in need across Queens, providing nutritious meals and support to families facing food insecurity. We’re honored to partner with them to help distribute meals and donations this year. We All Really Matter (W.A.R.M.) is a Harlem-based nonprofit organization founded in 2010 by domestic abuse survivor Stephanie McGraw. offers support groups, guidance, and referrals to emergency shelters, focusing on holistic healing to help victims overcome abusive relationships. They also provide wellness packages, training, and counseling workshops to support survivors.
