🎨 The art world is waking back up this September
After a jam-packed summer of programming, last night we celebrated melissajoseph_art at her first solo show with Charles Moffett “Casserole Culture,” up through October 17th.
Her felt work is full of texture and gesture that photos just can’t capture, go see it in person.
Melissa has contributed to FreeArtsNYC in a variety of ways over the last few years: a virtual studio visit, guest facilitator, our first-ever artist luncheon honoree, a mentor in Creative Lab, and most recently an internship host site this summer with Sara R. Aparicio Gonzalez, who has huge news of her own: her first-ever solo exhibition is now up at Martes de Galería through October 11th. Congrats, Sara!! 🙌
With 330 gallery openings this week alone and the Armory Show around the corner, so many of artists are having a moment. Go support them! 💛
