What an unforgettable night ✨🦋

Glasswing’s 12th Annual Gala brought together an extraordinary community in New York City to celebrate the power and potential of young people.

We were proud to honor Andrea and Emory Jones and present Sara Omi Casamá with the Glasswing Humanitarian Award.

Together, we raised $1.6 million to support programs in education, mental health, and economic opportunity across Latin America, the Caribbean, and New York City.

💛 11 years ago, Paola joined Glee Club as a student. Today, she’s back in a Community School—this time as a volunteer.

Now 23 and a graduate in English, Paola volunteers with English Club, where she puts her skills into practice while helping students build their own confidence. Along the way, she also discovered that working with children is the path she wants to pursue professionally.

From participant to volunteer, Paola's story shows how one opportunity can keep creating new ones for years to come. 💛

💬 “Maybe the small contribution I can make could become a big change in my community.”

For Anderson, joining Jóvenes Líderes de Impacto changed the way he saw his role in his community.

During his Service Learning experience at a local health center, he discovered how his ability to speak both **Mam and Spanish** could help him connect with people, build trust, and support others. 💛

Today, his peers recognize his potential and have chosen him as their president, while he continues preparing for his future as a teacher.

With support from the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, Jóvenes Líderes de Impacto creates opportunities for young people like Anderson to discover their potential and turn it into action. 🙌

My big dream is to become a mechanic so I can help people fix their cars." 🚗💛

Elmer is 11 years old and loves cars, dinosaurs, and discovering new ways to learn. At one of our Community Schools in Guatemala, he's building the curiosity, confidence, and skills that will help him turn his dream into reality.

Every child deserves a school where they can explore their interests, discover their talents, and imagine a bright future.
