Brooklyn Bridge Park Family Dance Workshop – Friday, June 5 from 4-5:30pm, Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 6 Liberty Lawn – FREE 🌉

Join ABT Teaching Artists for a dance workshop exploring characters and choreography from ABT’s Summer Season ballets – Don Quixote and Onegin! Designed for children ages 4–12, this workshop will include a design activity, a ballet warm-up inspired by the seven movements of ballet, and the chance to learn and perform a short excerpt from the ballets. No prior dance experience necessary!

Participants who register in advance and sign in at the event will enter a complimentary ticket drawing to the ABTKIDS performance hosted by former ABT Principal Dancer Misty Copeland on Saturday, June 27!

Don’t miss out! In-person auditions for NEW ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School Children’s Division students ages 7-12* are taking place next week Tuesday, June 9 and Wednesday, June 10! Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. Students are expected to have previous ballet training.

*For students ages 7-12 (must turn 8 years old by December 1, 2026, and must remain 12 through December 1, 2026).

Registration for NEW Pre-Primary through Primary C students (ages 3-7) will open on June 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET. All enrollment is first come, first served. Enrollment in each level is based solely on the child’s date of birth.

A wonderful evening at ABT’s 2026 Spring Gala at Cipriani honoring Katie Holmes. It was an unforgettable evening in support of the arts.

Guests were treated to a preview performance of DON QUIXOTE, newly staged by Susan Jaffe and Susan Jones, ahead of its summer run at the Metropolitan Opera House from June 26–July 7.
