During a tough year when a slow winter was followed by a historic double strike by the writers and actors of the film industry, tens of thousands of film crew found themselves with little to no work for several months.
The film industry is not for the faint of heart. It is made up of a dedicated and passionate type of people who immerse themselves into this business and give it their all. We have not only suffered financially, but have also missed our far-from-perfect world of filmmaking and storytelling. That being said, you can take the people out of the crew, but you can’t take the crew out of the people. We still stand together and help build each other up. This market is the embodiment of so much of who and what we are: creative, resourceful, organized, artistic, hard-working, collaborative, supportive, and production minded!
