We've got a text!! There are 6 adorable single Islander pups looking for love here at Villa MPR 🌴💗 Gather around the fire pit immediately, it's time to re-couple up these dogs with their future adopters and close them off forever in their new homes.

🩷Fiona, 4 y/o: A shy couch potato at heart, Fiona is looking for a low-energy bestie to match her chill lifestyle (ps: Fiona is a Native New Yorker, meaning her adoption fee is only $150 this month!)

💚Taz, 9 y/o: The charmer of the bunch, Taz is a goofy and affectionate guy whose lopsided ears will have you falling in love in no time (Native New Yorker)

🩷Matilda, 12 y/o: There's nothing this bombshell loves more than being cozy. Her love language is quality time!

💚Zoe, 1 y/o: Smarty pants Zoe is looking to couple up with someone in the suburbs. She's seeking a slow life of patience, gentleness, and stability.

All smiles (and ears) here with Kelsey as she is one of the most expressive girls we've seen. Originally from , Kelsey joined our pack back in January and has been waiting that past 5 months to find an adopter who is the other half of her black and white cookie.

Like any born-and-bred New Yorker, Kelsey is a social butterfly and wants to strike up a convo with everyone, no matter the location – the street, the subway, a park bench. She's great when meeting new people on our outdoor adventures and has a really lovable personality that dog lovers adore.

At 4 years old, she's got a big personality, and an even bigger smile to boot. City life suits her as she is a very curious girl and most of the commotion doesn't phase her at all. While she can sometimes get a little over-excited when playing with other dogs, she's been progressing beautifully with her training to help her manage her energy and improve her ability to wait before greeting others or letting them keep strolling by.

Butter, Butter bean, Butterfinger, Butter Butts... you name it and he'll come pitter pattering down to hug you hello! Butter is a 2 year old pup that is nothing but pure happiness 🧈💛

This 42 pound little man came from the before previously being a stray. But a life on the street was no set back for this ray of sunshine because Butter is all pep and joy. Butter walks like a gentleman on leash, trotting loosely beside you. He never reacts to stimuli or other dogs, and will always listen when you call his name to go another direction. Butter loves to zoom and romp around with toys, but not as much as he loves following you around and being by your side. He will happily rest by your feet or curl up on the couch with you. He's so happy to be loved and even happier to give love back, mostly in the form of kisses! His favorite way to receive love is by rolling onto his back and getting belly rubs.

Butter gets along great with the resident dog in his foster home. He plays with her respectfully, learning fast what it means to observe boundaries and play appropriately. Butter is working hard on his potty training; he never has accidents over night and always does his business promptly when he's outside. He's having the most fun discovering new foods and flavors. Watermelon is a yes, bell peppers are a no 😆 Butter the ingredient is a pantry essential but Butter the dog? We're confident he will be the necessary, full-filling, and delicious addition to any home!

Hey old sport, have we got two absolutely stunning adoptable dogs for you today. Introducing Gatsby and Jay 🥂💚 These dogs are ready to glitz and glam their way into your heart with as much decadence and greatness as the roaring 20s alluded to ✨(Note: They are not bonded or living together, they were part of a larger theme group!)

Gatsby (slides 1-3) the dog isn't much like his literary counterpart. Instead, this 2 year old gentleman likes to take life at a slower pace. He prefers gentleness and patience when it comes to implementing new routines and discovering life. Gatsby loves a good high value treat and cuddling up with those he trusts most.

Jay (slides 4-6) is a 2 year old pup that is similar to book Jay in that he likes to observe the world around him. More on the shyer side, he tends to hang back and look at the scenery go by. Jay likes to sit on the couch peacefully while you do your thing around the apartment. He walks politely by your side when its time to go out, and he never turns down a nibble of cheese or a classic pup.

June's ⭐️Dog of the Month⭐️ is the one and only Mariska!

This pretty-in-pink girlie is a Native New Yorker from who joined our pack in December. She's sweet as can be, loves to make new friends wherever she goes, is a big fan of dress up (especially in her signature color) and is an even bigger fan of afternoon siestas (and mid morning, and early evening honestly). She even went on a date with Bob Odenkirk once (thanks !), but decided that a bicoastal relationship was too much work.

Marty originally comes from and is a sweet, happy, and delightfully clumsy young pup who moves through life with pure, unfiltered enthusiasm. He is incredibly affectionate, people-oriented, and loves nothing more than being close to his humans—whether he’s leaning all his weight in for pets or following you around with his big, curious eyes.

​Marty comes with two wonderful settings:
• ​The Snuggle Bug 🐛:When he’s chill, he’s very chill and is a couch companion who melts into your side.
• ​The Comedian 🎭 When he’s active, the comedy show begins! Marty is goofy and full of life in a laugh-out-loud way.
• ​​Bonus 🔊 He’s a one-dog sound machine who happily grunts, snorts, and mumbles his feelings about everything.

What. A. Week. 🥹 These photos say it all - we were blown away by the outpouring of support and all of these adoptions. Last week we had 90 dogs in our care, we pushed our limits and our foster capacity because we were confident our community would come through. And boy did you!

We often hear that adopters are looking for smaller dogs for their NYC apartments, but don't quite want that chaotic puppy energy. We hear you! Good thing we have dogs for every adopter here at MPR. These five pups are all senior dogs with small statutes that are ready for their next adventures.

💙Evie, 11 y/o: Her foster parent calls her a tiny Italian Nona inside 20 pounds of pure canine cuteness! Evie is an easy-going, certified snuggle bug. Her favorite pastime is watching you cook in the kitchen; she also will never say no to a little cheese sample 🤭

💛Tom, 7 y/o: This funny little guy is 12 pounds of love. Tom loves to give kisses and rest his head on you to show affection. If you're lucky, you'll get to see his tongue sticking out while he sleeps or his adorable meerkat pose when he's excited by a treat!

💙Tokyo, 12 y/o: This 8 pound gal is sassy but utterly sweet. Tokyo is happiest when she’s cozy in a soft, warm bed. She likes to let you know when she wants to go on a walk -- hey, she's got people to see and places to be!

💙 Blondie, 13 y/o: Blondie is a 13 pound fluff ball who loves constant companionship and has never met an adult she doesn't love. Because of her life experiences, other dogs are not her favorite thing, and would thrive in a place where she can relax and call her very own. PS: Blondie is a Native New Yorker, meaning her adoption fee is only $150!

💛 Alastor, 11 y/o: Don't let his age fool you, Alastor is up for any adventure you can throw at him! He’s an excellent walker with perfect leash manners and a strong curiosity for the world around him.

A few weeks ago our partner shelter in Kentucky let us know they were sending up a mama dog and her 5 puppies. Little did we know just how squishy and adorable they'd be. Introducing the Mulan Litter!! Mama Mulan is not yet available for adoption but four of her now 2-month-old puppies will be at tonight's adoption event at HQ starting at 5:30pm. Scroll for a few wrinkles, swing by the event to see them in person!

💙Cri-Kee is an outgoing little gal that's looking to be your next sidekick just like her namesake. She loves to romp around with other dogs, play with toys, and cuddle. Fun fact: she has an extra toe on her back foot!

💛Ling is an easy going puppy that tends to be on the sleepier side than his sister. He loves to play and zoom, but prefers to cuddle up on the couch or in the play pen.

💙Ting Ting is a spunky pup who loves to wrestle with her sister. She loves to win at tug of war, is a fearless jumper, and always beats her competition to the tennis ball.

💛Mei is adventurous and kind. She loves to initiate play with her larger resident foster sibling!
