This week's puppy lineup has it all: future MVPs, tiny adventurers, professional snugglers, and fearless explorers.

Brunson and Anunoby (named after the , of course) bring championship-level teamwork. Brunson is confident and independent, while Anunoby is playful, affectionate, and always wants to be part of the action.

Their fellow Knicks pups are just as lovable. Towns is a gentle teddy bear with a sweet, calm soul. Hart may be tiny, but she has a huge personality and an even bigger heart. Bridges is smart, curious, and always ready for his next adventure.

Teeny and Tweety prove that good things come in small packages. Teeny is easygoing and patient, while Tweety is spirited, curious, and eager to explore the world.

And then there's Tadpole and Timmy -- the perfect pair of opposites. Tadpole is thoughtful, cuddly, and quietly confident, while Timmy is bold, outgoing, and determined not to miss a thing.

Whether they're wrestling with siblings, collecting cuddles, or discovering something new for the very first time, these puppies are making the most of every moment of puppyhood.

Jenny is "just a girl, standing in front of an [adopter], asking them to love her". 👩‍❤️‍👨

This petite, 1-year old girl is super laid back and such a sweet, gentle soul, and yet she hasn't found the one to sweep her off her paws and give her a home for good.

Jenny enjoys walks along the water, meeting new dogs and tummy rub with whoever she meets. With only a short time since she arrived in the city, she's already adjusted to a new environment almost immediately! While she can get a little startled from loud noises and nervous around daunting everyday items – like elevator or stairs – she's always willing to conquer her fears, and give it a few try’s until she learns that it’s safe.

If you are looking for a lover girl at heart, register to adopt at www.muddypawsrescue.org or email us at [email protected] if you are already approved. 💙

We're at a loss for why Miss. Mabel is still here after multiple weeks. She's a bigger puppy but that just means more to love and adore!

At almost 3 months old, Mabel is learning quickly what is expected of her - especially when there are delicious treats involved. She was shy at first, choosing to stay safe in her crate, but given the space she wanted to settle in, she struts around like she owns the place! She follows her foster around - grabbing toys to play and letting her zoomies take over. About 20 minutes is all it takes for Mabel to fall into a snooze.

With those eyes, and her silly personality, someone will be so lucky to scoop up Mabel. Will it be you? Registered adopters can email [email protected] to meet Mabel. Not registered yet? Get that started at muddypawsrescue.org/adopt!

Today’s Happy Tail is the story of Mona Lee, who joined our back in October of 2024 from and found her person in the amazing Deborah and family.

Unfortunately, Mona passed away earlier this year, but her story shines a light not only on the importance of ethical breeding, but on the resilience of our canine companions. When Mona came into our care, it was clear she been used for breeding. Extensive scar tissue from previous c-sections made her spay very complicated and if that wasn’t enough for her tiny body, her abnormal anatomy caused complications with defecation, leading to extreme constipation and a trip to the emergency room. Despite her medical complications and frequent trips to the vet, she was described by her foster “as the most loving foster I have ever had."

Deborah told us she “saw Mona’s photos on the website and fell madly in love! She went on medical hold and we waited several weeks until she was well enough to be adopted. It might have been easier to move on, choose a different dog but I was completely smitten.”

Mona was 14 years old when she finally got her fairy tale ending. She went from a skinny 17 pounds, to a healthy 25 during her time at home. Deborah describes her as very smart, funny, and joyful - adding “she brought us love and laughter and taught us to be in the moment.”

Since the loss of Mona, Deborah has been “devastated and miss her terribly. But we're so grateful to Muddy Paws for saving her and giving her a chance for a better life. We loved spoiling her and she thrived for the short time (16 months) she was ours. And I can’t think of anything more rewarding than adopting a senior dog in need of a loving home.”

Thank you to Deborah for sharing Mona’s story with us and for giving sweet Mona a safe, caring and perfect home to live out her senior days, we are so grateful that you found each other.

You may remember about a month and a half ago we received a mom and her 5 puppies in our care. After receiving much needed R&R and a few medical treatments, mama Mulan is finally ready for adoption! Here is a little bit about Mulan and her last baby Mushu, who are all looking for forever homes.

⭐Mulan, 2 y/o: This young mama is just as fearless and brave as her namesake. She's loving and loyal, always wagging her tail when she meets new people. Mulan has tremendous patience, is a low energy girl who loves to cozy up for a nap, and always sleeps through the night. After nursing her 5 pups Mulan underwent surgery to remove her left eye, which had severe damage from a variety of conditions, including microphthalmia. Today, Mulan bounces back seamlessly with a zest for life that's truly inspiring. (slides 1-3)

⭐Mushu, 3 mo: Described by his foster family as a little jumping bean, this goofy guy is playful with his resident foster sibling and loves to hoard his toys on his bed. (slides 4-5)

Ready to adopt one of our Mulan-themed pups to defeat the Huns? Head to www.muddypawsrescue.org to begin the registration. If you are already a registered adopter with Muddy Paws Rescue, please email us at [email protected].

It takes two to make a thing go right 🎶 It takes two to make it outta sight 🎶 We're seeing double with our brotherly bonded pair Jack and Earl. They are one of four bonded pairs we currently have up for adoption, and if you are ever wondering if taking two is right for you, I think these boys will convince you!

At 9 years old each, Jack is the scruffier, life of the party and the brave big brother to Earl. Jack's confident, cheerful personality helps his brother feel safe, while on the other hand, Earl's calm, quiet disposition makes him the pint-sized gentleman of the two. He has soulful eyes, loves affection, and has a way of winding down (or occasional up) his brother when things get crazy.

The two are a bonded pair who have spent their lives together and find comfort, confidence, and joy in each other's company. Whether they're exploring the neighborhood, sharing a nap, or waiting patiently for treats, they're happiest side by side. They would thrive in a home that appreciates the special bond they share and are ready to welcome twice the love, twice the companionship, and twice the adorable faces. 🥹🥹

If you're interested in Jack and Earl, register to adopt at www.muddypawsrescue.org or email us at [email protected] if you are already an approved adopter.

Forget talk of the Golden Boot - these pups ultimate goal is to score a home with YOU! ⚽️

Tickets to World Cup games are tough to come by, but luckily adopting Haaland or Messi is much easier. They don't care which country you're rooting for, as long as you have plenty of love to send their way.

Haaland is a 1.5 year old love bug, who wags her tail any time she hears you talk (yes, she's a girl). Her playfulness is understated but we know there's curiosity and maybe a bit of mischief waiting to come out.

Messi has an air of sophistication about her (also a girl) and a huge heart. She seems to prefer to stay under the radar as she adjusts to life in the city. She's a gentle companion who values quality time with her people.

If either of these pups seem like a MATCH for you, and you're a registered adopter, email [email protected]! Not registered yet? Get started at muddypawsrescue.org/adopt.

What a great time to be a New Yorker 💙🧡 and an even better time to adopt a 🍎 Native New Yorker🍎 From now until Labor Day, if you adopt one of our native pups, they'll have a reduced fee of $150!

Meet Barney – a 9-month old puppy who was originally found as a stray and came to Muddy Paws from the . Shelter life was very overwhelming for him, but he's really opened up while being in foster care. He is a growing puppy in the very best way – silly, sweet, goofy, delightfully derpy, and still growing into those big paws of his!

Barney loves other dogs and enjoys being close to his people. He can be a little timid in new situations, but give him a little time and patience, and his fun-loving personality quickly shines through. Once he feels comfortable, you'll see the playful, affectionate pup that's eager to be part of the action.

With a loving family, continued guidance, and plenty of opportunities for play, Barney is ready to thrive in his forever home. If you think Barney might be for you, begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org or email us at [email protected] if you already an approved adopter.
