At Oum el Nour, recovery is not the end of the journey, it’s where a new chapter begins.

For many women, rebuilding a life after recovery means rediscovering confidence, purpose, and the ability to stand on their own feet once again.

Through the dairy production unit supported by SEAL, women are not only learning valuable skills and earning an income, but also regaining their sense of independence and creating a brighter future for themselves and their families.

With new equipment and expanded production capacity, this social enterprise continues to open doors for women to reintegrate into society and move forward with dignity, one step at a time.

Because sometimes, the most powerful second chances begin with meaningful work. 💙

A year ago, this reservoir was just a vision, a bold one.

Today, it’s a reality holding 100,000 m³ of water, the largest SEAL‑funded reservoir in Lebanon.

In Ain Bakra–Qozhaya, we revitalized an aging system so 150 farmers can irrigate their lands again.
With steady water, orchards flourish, vineyards strengthen, and entire communities regain the confidence to grow.

Because when water returns, hope returns with it.

Great harvests don’t happen by chance, they’re built.

In Saidoun, the Agricultural Cooperative Association has been doing just that. With SEAL’s support, they expanded their Mouneh production and added four greenhouses, a water reservoir, and full irrigation to keep organic vegetables growing all year.

Now, 50 farmers harvest twice a year, and the whole village eats fresher, healthier, and more affordably.

This is long‑term community investment in action. 🌱

In the green valleys of Qobayat, water is more than a resource, its livelihood .
With SEAL’s support, a 2.1 km canal flows again, a 300 m³ reservoir rises, and new pipelines and filtration systems bring clean water back to the land.
This renewed irrigation network now strengthens the work of farmers, cooperative members, and seasonal workers whose hands keep Akkar’s fields alive.

Mejdlaya, Zgharta, the fields are quiet, but something is happening beneath the surface.

The soil is waking up.

At Buzuruna Juzuruna, the team chose to work with the land, not against it. Through no-till farming, they're protecting the soil's natural structure, letting microorganisms thrive, and allowing the earth to heal, season after season. 🌱

This is what sustainable farming looks like. Not just a method, but a mindset.

The transformation is visible. And it's only the beginning. 🌿

Project Update: Baadaran Water Reservoir
In Baadaran (Chouf), chronic water shortages have long limited fruit cultivation and poultry farming.

SEAL, in collaboration with the Al Shouf Cedar Society, built a 1,200 m² shared water reservoir on public land—providing reliable irrigation and livestock water during critical seasons.

This project supports 24 farmers, sustains 42 jobs, and is expected to boost net profits by ~20% in the first year.
