"Painting Party in the Garden - paint or be painted"
Location: East 8th St between Avenues C and D

Time: Saturday, September 20th, 12pm - 6pm

An afternoon of social painting in a lovely Loisaida garden, led by artist Pairoj Pichetmetkul. Come paint anything you'd like, or have yourself painted! Join us in painting landscapes, florals, portraits, OR, sit as a model and have your portrait painted. Become part of the artwork!

Participating Artists: Tawan Wattuya, Pairoj Pichetmetakul, Chutchawarn Janthachotibutr, Ryan Teeramate, Chaloemkiat Saeyong, Thitibodee Rungteerawattananon,Penporn Teerasukprasarn and more

We invite people to come and paint or be painted, and also participate in a photo shoot. We will provide some equipment and some art supplies but please feel free to bring your own.

artist Peter Goldwater presented his sculpture, "Waterworks #3" to Firemen's Memorial Garden today. He was inspired to gift the artwork after participating in ARBORETUM, an exhibition in this garden during the recent "Harvest Arts Festival in the Gardens". It will now reside in the garden for all to enjoy. Made possible by LUNGS (Loisada United Neighborhood Gardens), REPUBLIC Worldwide Inc and MaNY Project and the generosity of the artist.
