🐾Did you know that your sweet or silly sidekick has a chance to become October's Pet of the Month AND APSAC's 2027 Pet Mascot?🐾

APSAC's Pause for a Cause has two opportunities for your loving companion to be featured as a Pause for a Cause winner.

1️⃣ Pet of the Month
Each month, the pet that receives the most votes (in that month only) is crowned Pet of the Month. APSAC has crowned pets for three months already! Aren't they precious!

2️⃣ APSAC's 2027 Pet Mascot
On Giving Tuesday, December 1st, APSAC will crown the grand winner of Pause for a Cause: APSAC 2027 Pet Mascot! The winner will be the pet who received the most votes during the entire Pause for a Cause fundraiser.

Will your pet rise to the top as October's Pet of the Month or even take the lead for APSAC's 2027 Pet Mascot? Vote now to give your favorite sidekick a chance at one or both of the titles!

🐾 Meet Cali! She is the newest entry in the Pause for a Cause Paw Pageant!

Cali's owner, Christina Sally, says, "Meet Cali (short for California because she loves the sun and that was her name when I rescued her). A very special therapy pup that has nurtured and supported hundreds of young people during their child interviews and testimony in court - not to mention adults. She is silly and goofy, adventurous, and never met a wild animal she did not like! She believes people she meets on walks and hikes are her best friends. She never met a squirrel she did not want to play with! She is a cuddle bug, but mostly a good listener. As one child said during an interview break, 'Cali, I love you and will tell you everything.' Thank you for this opportunity to share Cali or CaliBear as we refer to her."

🐾 Meet Allie & Stella! They are two of the adorable entries in the Pause for a Cause Paw Pageant!

Allie & Stella's owners, Rocio Chang and Daniella Angulo, say, "This is Allie and Stella, our dynamic sister duo. Allie is a sweet, shy, and only a bit spoiled labradoodle, while Stella is a loud and fearless Kong-enthusiast rescue from Peru. They're a true yin and yang. When they're not eating, walking, or drooling, they're sleeping paw to paw. They're both very good girls who like to sit in the sun and share human food. Life's better every day with them!"
