The Meeting House Social emotional skills are life long attributes that engender peace among individuals, communities & cultures.

At TMH we empower youth through applied social emotional learning in direct ways that improve school achievement and grow personal development. The Meeting House mission is to empower youth through applied social emotional learning in direct ways that help improve school achievement and grow personal development. We are a multidisciplinary team of professionals who bring diverse areas of expertise

that include social work, education, occupational therapy and the visual and performing arts. We provide direct service to many constituents as well as professional development to school partners throughout New York City, offering fun, friendship and community to all.

💔 With deep gratitude and a heavy heart, we share that after 15+ years of serving students, families, and educators, we will begin winding down our programs.

This decision comes after our most impactful year yet, but recent changes in federal funding and shifting priorities in education have made it increasingly difficult for organizations like ours to continue.

To everyone who has been part of this journey: thank you. The relationships, the growth, and the lives we’ve touched together are the legacy we carry forward.
