⚽🎉 A Historic Day for Quickstep! Join us on Saturday July 4, 2026🎉⚽

The wait is over! We are proud to celebrate the grand opening of the first, ever soccer field in the Quickstep community, a dream that has become a reality through hard work, dedication, and the support of so many people who believed in this vision.

What started as an idea has become a lasting investment in the future of Quickstep. We thank every volunteer, donor, sponsor, and supporter who played a role in making this project possible. Your contributions have helped create something that will benefit generations to come.

Join us as we celebrate this milestone, enjoy great football, and make memories on a field that belongs to the community.

Quickstep, this is your field. This is your legacy. The journey starts here! ⚽🏆

This is bigger than a soccer field.

It’s about giving kids a place to belong.
A place to grow.
A place to stay off the streets and build something positive.

Nothing about this is handed to us.
We’re building it ourselves, step by step, day by day.

Now it’s your turn to be part of it.

No experience. No excuses. Just show up ready to work.

May 22, 23 & 24. 10AM. Quickstep, St. Elizabeth.

Be there when something real gets built.
Be there when this community levels up.

SHOW UP. PUT IN THE WORK. MAKE AN IMPACT.

Still a kid at heart, but carrying dreams that stretch far beyond himself. Dreams of turning empty spaces into places where kids can play, learn, and feel safe. Dreams of building up his community, strengthening his school, and creating opportunities that didn’t always exist before. It’s not about waiting for the “right time” or the “right age”. It’s about taking action now, even when it’s hard, even when progress is slow.

There’s something powerful about holding onto that mindset, the curiosity, the belief, the refusal to accept things as they are if they can be better. While others may see limits, he sees potential. While others wait, he works. Brick by brick, step by step, he’s driven by something bigger than recognition, it’s about impact.

Because at the end of the day, staying a kid with a dream isn’t weakness, it’s the foundation. It’s what keeps the vision alive, what fuels the long days and tough moments. And with that kind of heart and determination, those dreams don’t just stay dreams, they turn into real change for the community, the school, and everyone watching it come to life.

Anything worth building, a community, a dream, a legacy, is going to test you. The days when you’re tired, frustrated, or feel like progress is slow… those are the days that separate people who talk from people who build.

Progress doesn’t always look loud. Sometimes it’s just showing up again today.

Thank you to all our supporters, donors and volunteers.

Even the young ones are pitching in, doing their part to help get this soccer field done. Small hands, big hearts, this is how a community builds something that will last.

After Hurricane Melissa, life is slowly finding its way back. The kids are playing again, laughter filling the air where there was once silence. The grass is growing back on the soccer field. We’re back to work, step by step, committed to finishing this project.

From a small shack, built on faith and determination, has grown something powerful. Today, that same spot is home to Quickstep Primary School, Quickstep Basic School, Quickstep Library, Quickstep Community center, and Quickstep Community bus garage.

What started with humble beginnings now
stands as a symbol of what vision, hard work, and community unity can build.

With thankful hearts, we honor our donors, volunteers, and supporters. Your generosity, time, and belief make everything we do possible. We couldn’t do this work without you.

Renovating the kitchen roof so we can have a safe, reliable space where we can prepare and serve hot, home cooked meals for our students. With a solid roof overhead, the kitchen can once again be a place of care, nourishment, and togetherness, making sure every student has a warm meal and a place that feels supported and protected.

Even after Hurricane Melissa changed everything, the community keeps showing up. Day by day, neighbors are rebuilding their homes with their own hands, sharing tools, strength, and hope. Together, we’re rebuilding more than homes; we’re rebuilding our future.

Hurricane Melissa destroyed many homes, schools, livestock, and farms, leaving deep scars across our community. Yet in the middle of all that loss, children still find joy, laughing and playing soccer on the unfinished soccer field. It’s a powerful reminder that even after the storm, hope and resilience continue to grow.
