Bloom Girls

Bloom Girls A partnership between Columbia University Medical Center and the Community Health Academy of the Hei unhealthy relationships.

Mentors and mentees gather as a group weekly at CHAH to go through lessons. Lesson topics include bullying, racism, self identity, body image, STIs, and healthy vs. Mentees are 7th and 8th grade girls at the Community Health Academy of the Heights in Washington Heights, NYC. Mentors are women from various Columbia University Medical Campus schools--Dental, Nursing, Public Health, and Physicians and Surgeons.
