Happy International Translation Day 🌍

Bonjour, ciao, hallo, hola: however you say it, a great translation never *sounds* translated. That takes editorial skill, and plenty of our EFA members have it.

Our executive director, Autumn Arnett, heads to Washington, D.C., next week to speak at Membership World's Association Leaders Forum.

Her topic: Leading Through Turbulent Times.

Autumn is definitely knowledgeable about this one! Since joining EFA in 2024, she's guided our 3,400-member association through a new AMS rollout, a five-year strategic plan, and a lot of change in the freelance editorial world. Before that, she built The Brilliance, Excellence & Equity Project from scratch and spent years leading newsrooms.

Going to the forum on Oct. 7?📆 Find her and say hello!👋
