🚨 PLEASE CALL & SHARE ASAP! 🚨

We have HUGE news, but we are officially on the clock! ⏱️ On Monday night, the NYS Senate passed the Benefits Transparency Act with a bipartisan vote!

Now, we need the Assembly to do the same before their session ends this Friday. Right now, New York employers aren’t required to tell you if you’re being paid fairly or reveal crucial benefits information before you take a job. The Benefits Transparency Act (A5906/Bores) will change that!

👉 HERE IS WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO RIGHT NOW:
CALL Speaker Heastie at 📞 518-455-3719
Leave this simple message: "Bring A.5906 to the floor for a vote!"

The Mayor is cutting the Commission on Human Rights by 10.36% ($1.54M)—the biggest city-fund cut of any agency. ❌

For low-income New Yorkers facing federal hostility, CCHR is the only place to go for justice. No funding = no staff = no protection.

We’re fighting back and demanding a $10M increase. ✊

Email Your Representatives NOW: NYer's Can't Wait for Fair Pay!
Two Weeks Left to Pass NYS Pay Equity Law!

Tell lawmakers: Workers need wage and benefit information for fair pay!

New Yorkers are losing thousands of dollars every year due to unfair pay practices. This income is essential for basic expenses like groceries, rent, tuition, and healthcare, and its loss makes New York increasingly unaffordable for families already stretched thin.

While the recent law requiring salary ranges in job postings has been a positive step for jobseekers, current employees remain excluded from this transparency. Furthermore, employers are still not required to disclose full wage packages, including benefits and non-wage compensation. Workers need this crucial information to effectively advocate for themselves and we need to pass A5906/S5990!

The good news: Your New York elected representatives can act right now to level the “paying field.” Urge them to tell leadership to bring NYS A5906/S5990 to the floor for a vote!

Take Action to Pass the Benefits Transparency Act!
Please share this action widely on all your platforms by posting:
