Yet another case of human trafficking that will go under the radar.

Diplomatic Immunity...another way for politicians to feel above the law and abuse their authority.

This is nothing new, but the times of diplomatic immunity should be repealed, we're an informed society, these crimes cannot hide forever. Rapes, drugs, slaves, and murders, crimes allowed to be committed without fear of the police.

If I posted all the immunity issues this wall would look like a police blotter. But, while this rant might make sense, I'd never expect it to change. Once power's given, it takes a war to get it back.

I hope that this survivor receives the funds and support she needs to be identified as a a victim of human trafficking and will be able to receive the treatment she is entitled under the Federal Law: TVPRA. Put given the circumstances, I believe this case will fade into the shadows just like so many others.

In early May, it was reported that two potential trafficking victims were rescued from a Saudi Arabian diplomatic compound in an upscale area of McLean, Virginia. But since the residents apparently have diplomatic immunity, it seems little has been done to investigate or charge the alleged offender...

How many people in our communities go beyond words to help those who have been trafficked? You don't have to be a hero to save a life. Educate your friends and family and encourage them to do the same.

This is a prime example why s*x trafficking is a booming business opportunity in America and young women are continuously falling victim to this crime!

How many American's would sacrifice 6 months or a year of their life to make a few mill
ion dollars?

The crime of human trafficking and s*x trafficking continue to promote such lenient punishments because the crime is so unknown to the public, just the way the politicians want to keep it. Even look how her title has changed over the course of the trial from "Millionaire Madam" to "Soccer mom Madam" to better appeal to the public. How bad can a "Soccer mom" be anyway?

How common is it for a murderer or a ra**st to get 6 months in prison without a public outcry? Would that be seen as justice...of course not.

Yet, will we see protests or demands for justice over the 6 month, time-served sentence of a "Soccer mom" who pimped out women for over 15 years making millions?!?

I don't know how many times I've said it, but...WAKE UP AMERICA, this crime affects you more than you realize!!!!

Attorney General McKenna's aide:

"The Communications Decency Act, as you know, has provided a cover for those companies profiting from the selling of human beings. We understand that there is growing awareness in the U.S. House and Senate that the CDA may need amending. However, the two chambers will not act unless the public, including NGOs, sends a clear message about what needs to be done."

We as a nation must take action and that action starts in each of our communities. Take a stand and tell your Congressmen and Senators that this the CDA of 1996 must be amended and see these internet s*x sites closed for good!
