Psychology Section of the New York Academy of Sciences Its programs are organized by a volunteer Steering Committee made up of psychologists from various academic and scientific settings.

The Psychology Section of the NY Academy of Sciences presents lectures, workshops, and conferences for the general public and students, and also identifies and awards outstanding psychology dissertations nationwide. The Psychology Section, one of the many original sections of the New York Academy of Sciences offers membership to students and others, as well as to psychologists.
