Dr. Shoshan Haran reflects on protest and the impact of words, sharing her perspective on how language can contribute to violence.

Dr. Haran is the author of Mission in Captivity, her firsthand account of being held hostage in Gaza for 50 days alongside three generations of her family. The book explores captivity, survival, the struggle to bring the remaining hostages home, and the devastating impact of hatred and ideology.
