The NYPD Columbia Association invites all members and supporters to come together in honor of Patrolman Alfred Loreto, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty on July 21, 1950.

Join us as we help clean, paint, and beautify Loreto Playground, a place named in his memory, while ensuring that his service and sacrifice continue to be remembered by our NYPD family and community.

📍 Loreto Playground, Bronx, NY
📌 Within the confines of the 49th Precinct

All are welcome. Come out, lend a hand, and help us honor the memory of a fellow NYPD hero.

September 11, 2001 — 25 Years Later

Twenty-five years have passed, but the memory of September 11, 2001 remains forever etched in the heart of our city, our Department, and our nation.

Today, the NYPD Columbia Association honors the 23 NYPD officers and all first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice that day.

Among those heroes were Police Officer John D’Allara, Detective Joseph V. Vigiano, and Police Officer Robert Fazio — heroic members of the NYPD Columbia Association.

Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice are forever woven into the history of the NYPD and our Association. We also remember the heroes we have continued to lose in the years since, whose lives were taken by illnesses connected to their service and exposure following September 11.

Their sacrifice did not end that day. Their legacy lives on.

We remember the lives they lived.
We honor the service they gave.
We carry their names forward.

Twenty-five years later, and always, we will never forget.

🇺🇸🇮🇹 NEVER FORGOTTEN. FOREVER HONORED.
