"A falling tree makes more noise than a growing forest." 🌳 Health often grows in silence, and we usually only realize its value when something goes wrong.
Last Friday at the Scuola d’Italia Guglielmo Marconi, the Campus Salute New York event brought this powerful message to life! 🍎🏃‍♂️💤 Led by Prof. Annamaria Colao and other esteemed medical professionals, students and families gathered to explore the four essential pillars of a healthy lifestyle: nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and staying away from harmful habits.
Because when it comes to true well-being, health is a family affair! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨
A special thank you to Davide Ippolito from Il Newyorkese and Pasquale Antonio Riccio, President of Campus Salute, for everything they did to bring these incredible professionals to dialogue with the school community. 🙏👏

Our 5th graders took the mic and sat down with Italy’s Minister of Education, Giuseppe Valditara. From his daily routine to his favorite school memories, our young reporters asked him everything they were curious about!

Yesterday, the Scuola Futura initiative concluded at Lincoln Center in the presence of Minister Valditara. Scuola Futura was created with the goal of fostering a collaborative learning experience. Around eighty students from Italian high schools participated in the project, working alongside their peers from La Scuola on an initiative based on a learning-by-doing methodology. Through this approach, students took center stage in research, collaboration, digital experimentation, and creative production, supported by a professional team of trainers, facilitators, and experts.
The event was organized by Prof. Francesco D’ Anna and Beatrice Innocenti.

We were delighted to have Bindi North America and Sammontana sponsor a wonderful Back-to-School Ice Cream Celebration for the La Scuola d’Italia community. It was a beautiful day filled with smiles, laughter, delicious gelato, and the joy of our community coming together to celebrate the start of a new school year and the great opportunities ahead. The delicious taste of the gelato brought the children immense joy and energized them for the discoveries and learning ahead!
