Yesterday, Bridgefield Civic League had the pleasure of attending the Juneteenth Celebration hosted by Community Board 11 Bronx.

The event honored community members for their dedication, service, and contributions that continue to strengthen our neighborhoods. Congratulations to Jones, Grey, and all of the outstanding honorees recognized for their impact and leadership.

Juneteenth reminds us of the importance of freedom, unity, resilience, and community empowerment. Thank you to everyone who made this celebration meaningful and inspiring.

Bridgefield Civic League was honored to attend the Sawubona Festival 2026 in Bellevue, Washington!
What a beautiful celebration of culture, community, unity, and heritage. We enjoyed connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, exploring cultural booths, supporting vendors, enjoying delicious food, and experiencing the richness of traditions from around the world.
Events like Sawubona remind us that when communities come together to celebrate our differences and shared humanity, we build stronger, more connected neighborhoods for future generations.
