The Battle of the Drums Secretariat is proud to announce the launch of Hamalali Wanigu (Voices of Our People) — a groundbreaking album and music awards initiative created to take local artists and Garifuna music to another level.

Since 2017, the Belize Garifuna Song Competition has produced over 50 original Garifuna songs. Now, through this new initiative, these works will be professionally remastered, globally distributed, protected, and monetized for the benefit of our artists and culture.
