Despite being located within the lush green grounds of the the air quality sensor there currently has the highest reading. What could be causing this?

One contributing factor may be the Garden's proximity to a very busy roadway on a day with high ozone levels. Maybe?

Here we are again!

It doesn't take very much to affect air quality.
Everyday behaviors, combined with hot, bright days and limited breeze, make ozone the primary pollutant.

That said, tomorrow's air quality advisory will include some particulate matter pollution, specifically PM2.5.

Best advice is to limit outdoor activities and stay cool. Saturday will also be a poor air quality day, but rain is expected, so that will help tremendously. You can follow for more informatiom.
