UFBG Our goal is to provide tailored services that address the specific needs of young adults as they embark on their road to self-sustainability.

New York City Young Adults (ages 16-30) who are either homeless or reside in under-resourced communities are often trapped in intergenerational cycles of poverty. These cycles hinder them from gaining the skills or support needed to make a holistic transition into adulthood; often prohibiting them from becoming economically sound contributing members of society. Due to the unmet needs of this unde

rrepresented and under-resourced population, Unity Fellowship Breaking Ground (aka Breaking Ground) fosters an inclusive environment for individuals to transition into adulthood while providing the invaluable tools needed to increase academic achievement, employability, health, and business opportunities. We address the needs of our targeted populations through meaningful outcomes (accountability, performance and results) as opposed to a singular process. Our mission is not only to provide instruction on how to get a job, start a business, get into college and live a healthy life; we partner with young adults to build lasting self-sustaining pathways out of poverty and into economic prosperity.
