Beloved Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park Ambassador Marian Wynn passed away on Oct. 3. She will be greatly missed by all of us at Rosie the Riveter Trust.

May she rest in eternal light and peace.

80 years ago today - VJ Day - the world celebrated peace.

But victory was built long before the surrender, by millions of women who are Home Front Heroes. They worked in shipyards, factories, hospitals, and offices. They welded, riveted, nursed, typed, drafted, engineered, wired, picked and delivered - turning determination into history.

Three Cheers for Rosie the Riveter!

Today, we remember them. We thank them. We carry their "We Can Do It!" spirit forward.
