Zuri Fertility is working on an exciting new project focused on improving access and equity in reproductive care. As part of this effort, they are gathering insights to better understand how young men perceive participation in s***m donation programs and what factors may influence their engagement.

To help inform the direction of this work they've shared this brief survey aimed at college-aged men and college grads of color. The goal is to collect meaningful data that can guide more inclusive, effective approaches to donor recruitment and ultimately help families seeking diverse representation in donor options.

If you have 10 minutes to spare please take the survey and/or share it with the young men of color you know!

Check out the College of Charleston’s Avery Research Center for African American History and Culture’s upcoming symposium Those Who Have Must Turn Around and Give: Celebrating forty years of Preserving Black History and Education June 9-11, 2026, at the Avery Research Center and the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina.

The symposium commemorates 160 years of the Avery Normal Institute and 40 years of preserving Black history through archives, education, and community engagement. We will be bringing together educators, archivists, historians, students, community scholars, and cultural workers, to explore the critical intersections of Black education, archives, and community engagement. Centering Black voices, pedagogies, and memory work, the convening examines how education and archives function as tools of empowerment, resistance, and reimagination.
