Micah Institute The Micah Institute at New York Theological Seminary educates and equips faith leaders to fight pover

The Micah Institute is an initiative of New York Theological Seminary. Inspired by the Hebrew prophet Micah’s call to “act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God,” the Micah institute seeks to educate New York City faith leaders on issues of social and economic justice; to equip leaders to serve as change agents for social transformation and movement-building; and to act as a powerful coalition of organizers and advocates, transforming New York City for love and justice.

We pray comfort and consolation for the families of the 18 students and 1 teacher who were killed in an elementary school in Texas today. Please call your elected officials to enact legislation requiring background checks for those buying guns and to stop selling assault weapons. 5calls.org is the easiest and most effective way to connect with your congressperson and make a transformational political impact.
