From sandboarding across the Atlantis dunes to taking in breathtaking views atop Table Mountain, recognized as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature, today was filled with moments that reminded students to be fearless and open to new experiences. Standing at the top of the sand dunes and above the city served as a reminder that some of life’s greatest lessons come from seeing the world from a different perspective

That evening, we explored the energy, creativity, and rhythm of Cape Town through food, music, movement, and connection — ending the evening learning djembe drumming together around the dinner table.

Confidence grows in moments like these: trying something new, cheering each other on, and realizing you’re capable of more than you thought.
