A clean and well-maintained cemetery is a sign of respect for those who came before us and a source of pride for our community.

At the Kumasi Zongo Home and Abroad Unity Foundation, we are raising funds to purchase a sprayer machine and herbicide to help our cemetery workers keep the cemetery clean, safe, and free from overgrown weeds.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Hajia Hawawu Zakaria, beloved mother of Dr. Sheikh Hassan Kamagatey, President of the Nima Association and current Presidential Candidate of the Yankasa Association.

She returned to her Creator today in Ghana.

On behalf of her family, friends, loved ones, and all who knew her, we ask everyone to remember her in your prayers. May Allah (SWT) forgive her shortcomings, shower His infinite mercy upon her, expand and illuminate her grave, and grant her the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus.

We also pray that Allah grants strength, patience, and comfort to Dr. Sheikh Hassan Kamagatey and the entire family during this difficult time.

Today marks one year since the passing of Alhaji Baba Mati Musa.

A man remembered for his kindness, generosity and service to humanity.

Though he is no longer with us physically, his legacy continues to live on through the lives he touched and the Sadaqah Jariyah he left behind, including the water project that continues to benefit the Asokore Zongo community in Ghana.

We pray that Allah (SWT), in His infinite mercy, forgives his shortcomings, expands and illuminates his grave, grants him Jannatul Firdaus and rewards him abundantly for every act of charity and goodness he showed during his lifetime.

May the water that continues to quench the thirst of people become a continuous source of blessings and rewards for him in the hereafter.
