SAVE THE DATE - Appalachian Mountain Club NY - NoJ Chapter Picnic

Join us for the chapter's annual picnic on June 7th at the AMC's Harriman Outdoor Center in Harriman State Park for fun outdoor activities, learning sessions, delicious food, and a chance to connect with fellow members and meet new friends. Relax at a Saturday night campfire, hike on Harriman trails or paddle on beautiful Breakneck Pond.

Adults and families can enjoy the entire weekend in the park with overnight accomodations available for June 6th and 7th. Corman Harriman Outdoor Center lodging includes comfortable, modern cabins as well as tent platforms and shelters.

On Jul 21st - 23rd, join the Appalachian Mountain Club's NY-NoJ Young Members at the 2023 Harriman Takeover event!

We're returning for another weekend-long bash at the beautiful Corman Harriman Outdoor Center (CHOC), appx 37 miles north of New York City, and accessible by public transport!

Come join our 20s-30s members for spectacular hiking, rock climbing, swimming, paddling/kayaking, bonfires, and meeting other folks who are passionate about the outdoors!

- Medium / Advanced group hikes
- Family hike & night hike (night hike around Breakneck Pond)
- Top rope climbing at Powerlinez
- Sunset paddle
- Spincast / Fly Fishing Instruction
