We’re taking a closer look at some of the details of our new Margaret’s Place mural at Hostos-Lincoln Academy in the Bronx, NY! 🎨💛

Over six months, Margaret’s Place Counselor Shereen collaborated with the school’s after-school art club and Julissa, our Junior Designer and former Margaret’s Place student. Students helped bring the vision to life, contributing colors, creative ideas, and personal touches throughout the process.

The result is a vibrant, multi-wall mural that reflects the creativity and collaboration of the Hostos community and will be part of the room for years to come! ✨

From exploring emotions and practicing healthy communication to creative activities and peer connection, students are building important social-emotional skills in a space where they can feel supported, express themselves, and be themselves.
