Over the past few years, God has laid specific verses on Pastor Bill’s heart as the driving theme for that year. In 2023, we followed Isaiah 54:2 and responded to the call to lengthen the cords and strengthen the stakes. Last year, Deuteronomy 11:24 ignited the vision to claim new territories for the kingdom of God with the fire of the footprint.

This year, we have been inspired by Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Our mission for 2025 is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ UNTIL THE WHOLE WORLD HEARS.

My 13th staff retreat was wonderful as usual. We were in for a treat by our favorite bishop as well as other amazing God-sent; reminded of His faithfulness and promises; and how God charges and commissioned us to posses the mountains through the beautiful feet that bring Good News. Our theme this year is “The Fire of The Footprint”, quoting first part of Deuteronomy‬ ‭11‬:‭24‬,

”Every place where you set your foot will be yours”
‭‭
Contrary to the context during the days of Moses, the idea of footprints and territory is different from today. The land we are trying to possess is the hearts of people. Possessing “lands” and advancing territory (thus His Kingdom) through salvation.

🦶🏻We are the chosen ones to share the Good News;

🦶🏻We are establishing footprints 👣;

🦶🏻Our feet are beautiful (metaphorically);

🦶🏻We are the bearers of Good News, messengers commissioned by God.

“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭15‬b)
