As a nation, the words October 7 will never leave our hearts or our memories.

Three years ago, we lost so many, including our very own Hallel Saadon ז״ל and Yosef Guedalia ז״ל, הי״ד.

This summer, our Rosh Machane Chutz (Shmutz) , Milty, had a dream for Machane Moshava: to create a beautiful outdoor בית כנסת that would carry the memory of so many precious lives lost since October 7.

The incredibly talented Elad Saadon, Hallel’s father, together with our Mishlachat, brought that dream to life, building a בית כנסת at the Shmutz site, surrounded by nature. Each bench honors a life lost and carries a פסוק that speaks to who they were, giving our chanichim the opportunity to learn about them, connect to them, and carry their memories forward.

May this beautiful מקום תפילה, which we have named בית כנסת עוז ותקומה, keep their memories alive in the hearts of our Moshava Mishpacha and all of עם ישראל. 🇮🇱
