Interested in learning more about our Animal Rescue Team? Our Volunteer Mixer is happening THIS WEDNESDAY, December 3rd at 6:30 PM. Join us in the Environmental Studies building (79 Washington Square East 6th floor Conference Room) to meet the team and learn more about the opportunity to volunteer!

Make sure not to miss our first screening of the semester directly after the volunteer mixer! We will be offering vegan snacks and screening Famous Last Words: Dr. Jane Goodall🎬🍿

Pest Fest 2025 was a testament to the exploding success of ARC Species Celebrations! Each year the music gets bolder, the art more daring, and the collective compassion for our non-human neighbors grows even stronger.🪳🐀🐦

Endless gratitude to every performer, and to and iBirdNYU for uniting music lovers and animal advocates in shared curiosity and compassion. Together, were learning to shift perspectives of “pest” species and build a kinder city for all🤍🤍

The Animal Rights Collective is back with another species celebration! ⭐️⭐️

PEST FEST is this Friday at 1pm, where for the first time ever we will be combining all of our prior music festivals and using live music and art to honor the lanternflies, roaches, pigeons, rats and all the precious “pests” that share the city with us!

Join us for this spooky celebration and come dressed as your favorite pest! 🪳🪰🐀🐦

Last weeks climate gallery event was a huge success!!! Last Tuesday we had an open climate gallery event in honor of climate week where people were able to experience a VR simulation of the climate disaster, engage with awesome political art, enjoy delicious plant based food, and talk with other passionate people💚 We had so much fun making this possible and getting to enjoy it with all of you🥰
A very special thank you to and for all of your help making this possible❤️ and to .nyc for all the incredible food❤️❤️ and thank you to all the artists who submitted their work to be seen❤️❤️❤️ You guys are all so awesome and it goes to show that it takes so many different groups of people coming together to make something meaningful like this to happen! We are all valuable in this fight and everyone has a role to play🥰

Thank you to our panelists for fostering such an awesome open conversation on Monday!⭐️We are so lucky to get our year started in a way that makes us feel so close to you guys. Every conversation inspires us with more hope than before. We thank everyone who came out to our conversation today and that everyone left with something to take home with them, even if it was just a delicious vegan donut😉🍩

If you missed this event and are still looking for some hope and conversation, we are hosting a climate gallery along side tomorrow at 11 am💚💫 art is such a great way to learn about these subjects in new ways, something the ARC has always been passionate about doing. We hope to see you there!

📸 from club fest last week💟 It was such a relief to be reunited with the animal lover community at NYU again! We loved seeing you guys up close and personal, connecting with old faces, and meeting the future of our community🥰 When the world feels uninspiring, you guys are always there to remind us of our motivations and how powerful we can be together🩷
NYU might work hard but let me tell you..The ARC works harder🥵😉

Spent our last day together eating homemade brunch, walking around brooklyn, and getting vegan mango sticky rice ice cream🤍 This year we accomplished so much as a club and pushed ourselves beyond what we thought was possible, I’m so grateful to have found such a powerful group of people looking to make the world a better place (and who are such good cooks, like fr) Feeling so proud and of our group and special to be a part of it🫶 WOOOOOOHOOOOO🥳

the ARC doesn’t play about our love for pigeons🐦🩷 Thank you to everyone who came out for Pigeon Fest this year we had a blast dancing, making art, and learning about our pigeon friends🫶 There is so much unwarranted pigeon hate in the city right now and taking that time to spread information and love was so important! We will continue to speak out for pigeons and other animals we cohabitate this city with!
Reach out to for any pigeon injuries you encounter in the city and remember we are not the only ones here!
