Wanda's Fund for Kids Wanda's Fund for Kids provides joy and support to sick kids and the people who love them. The Fund was established and is managed by her family.

Wanda’s Fund for Kids was established in 2015 to help sick children, their families, and others who love and care for them cope with the impact of illness by providing art and music therapy, recreational events, birthday and holiday celebrations, and other activities deemed appropriate by the Fund in consultation with hospital medical and support staff. The Fund is named in memory of Wanda Ortiz, a pediatric oncology and surgical nurse who died in 2015 of non-smoker’s lung cancer.
