Forge America

Forge America We long to see the reign of God revealed in the everyday spaces of life.

To see this happen, Forge America is a network of practitioners cultivating practitioners who join in the everyday mission of God. Forge brings together denominations, seminaries and faith communities of all kinds as it trains people to live on mission, lead missional communities and create missional movements. The Forge Mission Training Network began in Victoria, Australia in 1996, launched by Al

an Hirsch and Michael Frost as a response to the dire need for Christians to go into the world to reach the not-yet Christians, as well as reclaiming the "Sent" nature of the People of God. In 2010, Forge America began rolling out to various cities such as Dallas, Kansas City, Chicago, and many others since, aiming to bring about a shift toward a paradigm in which every member of the body is part of the mission of God. As a servant to local churches and a partner towards universities, seminaries, and mission organizations, we believe Forge will play a huge role in re-imagining and re-shaping the Western Church to engage the not-yet-followers of Jesus.

MISSION DOESN’T MICROWAVE... IT CROCK POTS 🍲

🎙 In Season 7, Episode 2, Alan Bradford and Terry Ishee explore why mission often becomes exhausting when it turns into one more program, project, or event.

Their reminder is simple:

Mission is not something you add on. Mission is a mindset.

When we begin to see our everyday relationships as the primary context for mission, everything changes.

Mission becomes less about doing more and more about practicing the way of Jesus with the people already around us.

🚶 Slow walks.
🍽️ Slow meals.
👂 Listening well.
🏡 Faithful presence..

If you’ve ever felt burned out trying to “do mission,” this conversation offers a better way.

🎙 THE PODCAST IS BACK!

After some time off, the Forge America Podcast dropped Season 7, Episode 1… and it’s more than a “welcome back.”

It’s a look forward at the next 15 years with Forge.

And what’s emerging is clarity of vision:

👉 We’re missional practitioners… cultivating other missional practitioners.
👉 We exist to resource, train, and gather.
👉 We’re building toward connection with practitioners in all 50 states.

And in this episode, we start unpacking the 5 Core Principles of Missional Movement:

✅ Mission
✅ Context
✅ Community
✅ Formation
✅ Practice

And maybe the most important reminder: You’re not crazy. And you’re not alone.

🔥FORGE SUMMIT DAY THREE 🔥

Before Summit ended, we got an opportunity to honor Rowland.

Through stories and toasts, we celebrated his leadership and the way he’s helped shape this tribe over the years. Grateful for his impact and the road ahead.

Then we closed the Summit by slowing down.

After a full few days together, we made space to reflect, pray, and pay attention to what God has been stirring in us.

Through guided reflection, shared stories, and creative expression, leaders named what they’re carrying home… and where they sense invitation moving forward.

As we closed, there was a common theme: this isn’t something we go build… it’s something we get to step into as we say “yes” to God’s mission in the places God has already sent us

Thank you to everyone who joined us this week and became a part of the movement.

🔥 FORGE SUMMIT DAY TWO 🔥

Today we went deeper as day two of the Forge America Summit ’26 focused on re-framing mission and formation.

We started by shifting how we see mission: not a project to manage, but a posture of presence and participation in what God is already doing.

And formation: not a program to complete, but a way of life shaped in the way of Jesus.

Through worship, honest conversations, and a wide range of breakout sessions, we explored what this actually looks like in real contexts, with real people, in everyday life.

From identifying our context, to sharing stories from the neighborhood, to thinking about partnerships and life on the margins…there was a consistent thread: faithfulness looks like simply saying “yes” to what God is doing in the everyday.

We ended the day with space to reflect, pray, and pay attention to how God is forming us in the middle of it all.

Stay tuned. One more day to go.

🔥 FORGE SUMMIT DAY ONE 🔥

The Forge America Summit ’26 opened today in Greer, SC with authentic worship, a powerful re-framing of success, and meaningful breakout conversations.

Throughout the day, we leaned into what it means to faithfully say “yes” to God’s mission… regardless of outcomes.

We’re learning that we’re not alone in our vulnerabilities. Not alone in our questions. Not alone in the tension of trying to live this out.

And we’re learning the power of discovering that God is already at work… right where we are.

Stay tuned for Day Two!

🔥 PRE-CON COMPLETE… DAY ONE STARTS NOW! 🔥

We just wrapped up the Summit Pre-Conference, where leaders were equipped to train others in the Five Core Principles of Missional Movement:

Mission • Context • Community • Formation • Practice

It wasn’t just content 📚. Leaders leaned in, discussed 💬, practiced 🛠, and began imagining what this looks like in their own everyday contexts 🌍

And now… we’re kicking off Day One of the Forge Summit! 🙌

Stay tuned for more as we gather, listen, and step into what God is doing together.

🌍 The FORGE AMERICA SUMMIT ’26 is TOMORROW and we’re gathering missional practitioners from across the country to pause, listen, and re-frame what success really means .

This work was never meant to be carried alone. It takes partners, friendships, and a wider network of people saying yes to the same calling in different places. That’s why we’re especially grateful to our Summit partners like these:

EXPONENTIAL: Helping equip and multiply leaders across the country as they reimagine mission and join God’s work in the world (exponential.org).

MOSAIC CHURCH (Easley, SC): An authentic faith community within local home communities living out the way of Jesus through love, service, and everyday faithfulness (mosaiceasley.org).

These aren’t just sponsors. They’re co-laborers. People who remind us that the Kingdom moves through relationship, not isolation.

At the Summit, that’s exactly what we’re stepping into:

🤝 Real relationships
💬 Honest conversations
🕊 Shared discernment

Because none of us are meant to figure this out alone. Join us TOMORROW, come find your collaborators, and step into missional life together:
