More families are asking: how do we create learning experiences that are both meaningful and academically grounded?

100cameras is now an approved vendor for many ESA programs, offering a structured photography and storytelling curriculum designed for homeschool and charter school settings.

Students actively engage with the world around them — observing, documenting, and reflecting on their experiences — not just completing assignments indoors.

The result:
• Greater confidence and emotional intelligence
• Stronger connection to their environment and community
• Increased optimism about the future
• Clearer communication and self-reflection skills

Our curriculum is research-backed and aligned to national standards across literacy, arts, and social development — making it both flexible and credible for a wide range of learning environments.

If ESA funds are available in your state, this may be a strong fit. Happy to share more!

Our work continues because educators, families, and supporters believe reflection and expression strengthen young people.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners, 100cameras maintains a scholarship platform that helps keep these experiences accessible to more schools, community organizations, and young people.

Optimism is built intentionally.

Research and program data show that guided creative reflection strengthens emotional resilience and confidence about what’s possible.

93% of students report increased optimism about where they will be five years from now.

Our programs are designed for classrooms, homeschool settings, professional development, and corporate team-building.

Confidence becomes visible.

“Creativity. I think it is like expanding your mind. Expressing how you feel. To express my feelings - I thought it was pretty good. Because now I feel pretty comfortable with expressing feelings with people. And I'm not really shy anymore.”
— Josiah, Youth Participant, White Plains USA

Growth isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s simply feeling more comfortable in expressing your thoughts, feelings, and ideas.

This work continues because educators, families, and institutional partners believe that optimism and well-being matter.

Your belief helps expand access to meaningful creative tools across communities.

If you’re interested in supporting or bringing programming to your community, we’d love to connect!

Through structured reflection, students learn to share their experiences in ways that build participation, confidence, and community.

“As the students started to share their stories, others felt compelled by them and even cried a little. Even though some stories are hard to express or to hear, the fact that they can share them shows that they know others won't judge, and on the contrary, will be supportive. I believe this contributes to creating a sense of community in itself.”
— Romina, Program Educator, Cúcuta, Colombia

That’s peer empathy in action, and it’s built intentionally into our curriculum.

Creative reflection isn’t extra — it’s essential.

Research conducted in partnership with United Nations entities, United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research and UNICEF, highlights how structured self-reflection through our curriculum strengthens resilience and emotional intelligence.
