Meet Eleanor Hart, Team Captain of Team Hart at Walk ALS Hudson Valley.

"I was only two years old when my dad passed away from ALS, so most of what I know about him comes from the stories my family has shared. Walk ALS has become one of the ways I get to know him, honor his memory, and keep him a part of my life. Every year when I put on purple and walk with my family, I feel like I'm carrying a piece of him with me and helping others know him too."

💙 Thank you to Cathy Chestler Miller and FOR THE LOVE OF JEMMA for 22 years of dedication to Walk ALS Long Island!

This year, the team raised more than $94,000, making them our top fundraising team across all six Walk ALS events. Even more inspiring, they have raised an incredible $2.4 million+ since walking in honor of Jemma, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2004 at the age of 30.
