Our Eat For Good dinner at F&F raised more than 45,000 meals for New York City kids facing summer hunger, bringing together celebrated chefs and committed New Yorkers for a Brooklyn night centered on fighting food insecurity.

Featuring Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli (The Franks), Dan Richer, and Jamie Bissonnette, the evening showcased what happens when community gathers around a shared purpose.

A night of great food, great company, and real impact—helping ensure kids across NYC have access to meals all summer long.

Special thanks to MetLife, Nationwide, Tito’s, San Pellegrino, and United Airlines for supporting the mission to help end childhood hunger.

We recently celebrated the graduation of the inaugural Emerging Leaders Advocacy Council (ELAC), a pilot program designed to empower the next generation of food justice advocates. 🎓

Over the past year, students from colleges across New York City gained hands-on experience in food policy, civic engagement, and community organizing while leading advocacy efforts on their campuses and in their communities. Together, the cohort drove hundreds of advocacy actions and helped raise awareness about student hunger and campus food resources.

🗣️ Their work is a powerful reminder that young people are not just the future of advocacy, they are already leading meaningful change today!

This summer, the gap is wider than ever. 🍽️ As school ends and food costs stay high, many New York families lose access to school meals while also facing new hurdles to SNAP benefits.

Parents are doing everything they can. Stretching meals. Navigating confusing systems. Choosing between groceries, rent, and childcare. No one should have to spend their summer wondering how they’ll feed their family.

Your support helps us meet rising need when families need it most. 🔗 Donate at the link in bio. 🧡
