06 United Football Club is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, created by Chinese Americans based in New York City.

06 United Football Club (the “Club”) was established in June 2006 by a group of passionate players in Queens, New York. The initial objective of the Club was to gather more players for regular practices and organize ourselves as a well recognized team and participate in soccer tournaments across NY and NJ. In 2014, the Club began to recognize the lack of affordable soccer training opportunities fo

r children, in particular for low income families in the metropolitan area. The key members of the Club strategically decided to establish a youth training academy (volunteer-based) and registered as a U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. To date, the Club has appropriately 400+ members, including coaches and volunteers, and had since acquired multiple community partnerships to support our adults and youth units.

06聯足球體育會是一家位於美國紐約市註冊的501(c)(3)非牟利機構體育會。球會建立於2006年6月中，起初成立的目的是致力在紐約市社區內推動足球運動發展，提升本地華人足球水準，藉着「以球會友」增進華人之間彼此的友誼。球隊成立至今仍然持續對外參與競賽，每年亦舉辦多次大型的錦標賽，活動規模也比以往逐漸擴大。目前，球會的成人隊、青訓部會員、教練及義工團隊合共約400人。

Founded in June 2006 in Queens, New York, 06 United Football Club began with a group of passionate players united by a simple goal: to play, train, and compete at a higher level across New York City.

In 2014, the Club expanded its mission after recognizing the need for more accessible and affordable soccer training for youth, especially for families in underserved communities. This led to the creation of our volunteer-based youth academy and the establishment of our organization as a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Today, 06 United FC is proud to have grown into a community of 500+ players, coaches, and volunteers, supported by strong partnerships and a shared commitment to developing both youth and adult programs.

As we celebrate this 20-year milestone, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey. Our players, families, coaches, volunteers, and partners.

We look forward to continuing to grow, inspire, and provide high-quality soccer opportunities for the next generation over the next 20 years and beyond.

Our first tryouts of the season for the 𝟎𝟔 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐏𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 were successfully completed last weekend. We received over 350 applications across five locations. Congratulations to all players who made it into the program 👦🏻⚽️💙

The next and final tryouts for the 2026 season will be in June. Stay tuned for updates❗️
