Bobby has a family waiting in France, but he cannot travel yet.

Bobby is an 11 kg black dog, around 7 to 8 years old, found next to the train station in Romania where Limpy stayed. All the other dogs disappeared from that dangerous spot and were taken to a public shelter where dogs are scheduled to be euthanised. He is sweet and gentle with everyone, and he already has an adoption request waiting in France, but he tested positive for heartworms.

Now he is safe, fed, and resting at Dog Rose.

Preparing Bobby for his new home takes blood tests, heartworm injections, veterinary monitoring, neutering surgery, and nourishing food.

A dog cannot survive on the streets with a broken leg.

He was found in Romania with a severe break and brought to safety before he could end up in a public shelter where injured dogs are scheduled to be euthanised. We took him into our care at Dog Rose to get him to the vet and see if his leg can be saved.

Now he is safe, fed, and resting.

Giving him a chance to walk again takes x-rays, orthopedic surgery, pain relief, bandage changes, and nourishing food.

She led us straight to her babies.

A mother dog was found near our village in Romania. When we reached her, she did not run. She turned around and walked us to where her newborn puppies were hidden. The nights are getting colder now, and for puppies this small, the cold is not something they survive.

Now mum and her babies are safe, fed, and warm at Dog Rose.

Looking after a nursing mother and newborn puppies takes puppy food, nourishing meals for mum, warm bedding, vet checks, and deworming.

3 boys taken from a public shelter right before being put to sleep. ❤️

Two of them are seniors. The light in their eyes and gratefulness is so heartwarming, knowing they are safe with us.

We need $50 to cover their vaccines and deworming.

Tessa was brought to us with her puppies. 💖

Tessa is around 3 years old and only 6 kg, she is a very cheerful and gentle mama who took such good care of her little ones. Her puppy Tuka is already adopted, but Tessa and her boys are still waiting for their forever homes.

Her boys are sweet, friendly little boys who will stay small like their mom. They are great with cats, dogs, and children, and will be ready to travel in October at 3 months old.

Both Tessa and her boys are wonderful with other animals and people, and both are suitable for an apartment or a house in the city or countryside.

Yorki arrived completely alone. 🩵

He was brought to us with no siblings, weak and very picky with food. With good nutrition and routine, he recovered.

Now he is super cheerful, loves kids, dogs, and cats, and will stay small at around 5 kg when adult. He needs an adopter who understands Yorkie foodie habits, willing to provide wet food or cook if needed.

Ready to travel in October.

Abandoned in the middle of nowhere. 💔

We received a plea to help a puppy left completely abandoned in the brush.

We brought her to safety, and she will stay with our adult dogs so she feels protected and learns she is loved.

She is safe now, but she needs medical care to begin her new life. Her intake needs a sponsor for her vaccinations and heartworm test.

Fetita’s new life begins today. 💖🇩🇪

Fetita is a 3 y old girl who has had many puppies until now. Today her owner brought her to us for spaying and said she has too many dogs.

We asked our German association partner for help, and she was adopted directly by the team in Koln. She will travel in September to start her new life.
